WaveMax Sound Editor provides support for more than 50 audio formats, allows you to record tracks, edit recorded tracks or tracks you already have on your machine, comes with a nice list of special effects, features a user friendly interface, and more. These are just a few reasons why you should go ahead and give this great audio editor a try.

Modern and even older PCs will have no problem meeting WaveMax Sound Editor’s system requirements: 1GHz processor or better (2.4GHz processor recommended), 512MB of RAM or more (1GB recommended), 60MB of free disk space, Windows operating system (32 or 64-bit edition, anything from XP onward).

WaveMax Sound Editor features a Windows Explorer-like interface, meaning that you will immediately feel at home using the application. The audio file you loaded is displayed as waveform on the central part of the interface. The panel to the left lists shortcuts for several functions WaveMax Sound Editor has to offer. At the top there’s a handy toolbar and at the bottom the playback controls are displayed. As already mentioned, you will immediately feel at home with the interface.

From a functionality point of view, WaveMax Sound Editor has lots to offer: support for a long list of audio formats, built-in player, individually or batch process audio files, edit ID3 tags, trim start and end, split a file into two, cut a specific section, add an effect or a special effect (there are lots of effects to choose from), text to speech functionality, record audio tracks, and more. You have a 30-day trial period to use WaveMax Sound Editor for free and uncover all the functionality it has to offer.

Via a user friendly interface WaveMax Sound Editor will provide easy access to lots of audio editing functionality.

Pros

The system requirements for running WaveMax Sound Editor aren’t that hight; the installation process will go along smoothly and rapidly. You will immediately feel at home with the interface. WaveMax Sound Editor is a properly good audio editing tool that comes with a nice list of features.

Cons

The save button is disabled; 30-day trial.
